Introducing New Fish

Burmese Glowlight Danio

The Glowlight Danio is a brightly colored and showy cousin of the popular Zebra Danio. This beautiful fish is adorned with bars, stripes, and spots in radiant green, gold, red, and turquoise. This slender-bodied and active schooling fish is an ideal choice if you wish to add motion and beauty to the freshwater community aquarium.

Native to streams and pools, the Glowlight Danio does well with other Danio species and other peaceful fish of similar size. This fish will be very active when kept in a school of six or more individuals. The Glowlight Danio prefers a planted aquarium with plenty of swimming space available.

Glowlight Danios are omnivores and should be fed a diet of flake foods with plenty of vegetable matter, as well as freeze-dried bloodworms and tubifex.
