Mixing Instructions:
Basic Ratio: 1 part powder to 2 parts cool water
Example measurements:
– 10g powder + 20ml water = 30ml gel food
– 50g powder + 100ml water = 150ml gel food
Procedure:
• Measure required powder amount • Add hot water (preferably not boiling) • Mix thoroughly until fully dissolved • Stir until smooth • Pour into mould/container • Place in refrigerator to cool and allow to set into a gel form • Feed as directed.
STORAGE (Powder):
Store in cool, dry place • Keep container sealed • Avoid direct sunlight • Use within 2 years of opening • Check batch date before use
STORAGE (Mixed):
Refrigerate prepared gel • Use within 3 days • Can be frozen for up to 1 month • Discard any uneaten portion after 24 hours at room temperature
CAUTION:
Avoid inhaling powder during preparation • Wash hands thoroughly after handling • Keep out of reach of children • Close container immediately after use • Follow species-specific feeding guidelines • For animal use only • Discard if contaminated or off-odour develops • Store away from human food and beverages • Monitor feeding response and adjust portions accordingly • Consult reptile specialist for specific dietary needs • Not suitable for reptiles under 6 months of age without professional guidance
