Seachem Axolotl Conditioner is a concentrated aquarium water conditioner that makes tap water safe for Axolotls by removing chlorine, chloramine and detoxifying ammonia. It converts ammonia, which is highly toxic to Axolotls, into a safe, non-toxic form that is readily removed by the tank's biofilter. Axolotl Conditioner also detoxifies nitrite and nitrate, allowing the biofilter to more efficiently remove them making it effective during tank cycling to alleviate ammonia/nitrite toxicity. Additionally, it detoxifies any heavy metals found in the tap water at typical concentration levels. Axolotl Conditioner is non-acidic and will not impact pH. Use Seachem Axolotl Buffer for safe and effective pH management. Axolotls can produce high levels of ammonia so it is very important to cycle your aquarium with beneficial bacteria such as Seachem Stability to safely establish and maintain efficient biofiltration.
