NexGard Spectra Flea & Worm Treatment for Cats
The next generation in feline parasite control, NEXGARD SPECTRA for Cats is a monthly spot-on treatment that kills and prevents flea, tick, mite and ALL species of worm infestations in cats and kittens.
The broadest spectrum parasite treatment available for cats; it kills fleas, ticks, ear mites and worms, including tapeworms.
Treating only for fleas, treats only half the problem. Make sure you treat your cat for worms too. Monthly administration delivers optimal parasite control for both internal and external parasites.
HUNTING – While we’d prefer them not to, cats are known to chase and hunt rodents such as mice, birds and other small wild prey that can host parasitic worms, including tapeworms.
GROOMING – When grooming, cats swallow anywhere between 18-50% of their fleas.1,2 Fleas are intermediate hosts for the tapeworm Dipylidium caninum which means cats can become infected with tapeworms by swallowing fleas.
ROAMING – Adventures around the neighbourhood, in gardens, local parks and public places where other animals go, expose kiwi cats to fleas and worms all year round.
Roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms represent zoonotic risk. If cats are not routinely dewormed, pet owners and their families (especially young children) are at increased risk of exposure and infection. NEXGARD SPECTRA for Cats helps protect against these zoonotic parasites.
ZOONOSIS – THE DEFINITION OF ZOONOSIS IS A DISEASE WHICH CAN BE TRANSMITTED TO HUMANS FROM ANIMALS.
